Borrow the charm of this vintage 1909 home nestled in the Garden District. Something Blue Cottage offers an array of experiences that are sure to hit the checklist of something old, new, borrowed and blue! This indoor and outdoor space is the perfect host for a bridal shower, baby shower, a gathering of your bridal party, and your wedding-day makeup and hair preparation. The cottage also has a first-floor master bedroom below and upstairs bedroom accommodations.

The Phoenix Building is across from the historic Calcasieu Parish Courthouse and serves as the gateway to downtown Lake Charles. It is a new construction whose design was inspired by the best of Lake Charles and New Orleans architecture, which shared common roots. The building is the headquarters for Empire of the Seed and other local businesses. Its name is inspired by the downtown rebuilding effort that took place over a century ago after the Great Fire of 1910.
